“Hello Alice” His deadly voice sounded and his lips curled up into a creepy smile.

Alice shifted back slowly, her chest heaving with her lips parted. Isn’t he supposed to be tied up? How the hell is he here? Mirabel and Phaedra who saw Baal was shocked too.
Baal wanted to step in but an invisible force stopped him. He slowly look down and saw the mountains ashes.
“Fuçk” He cursed under his breath. Alice saw it too and her sight went back to Baal.
“Today isn’t our day Alice. I just came to say Hi” He smirked and then vanished.
Phaedra let out a breath of relief. Mirabel was still in shock. This is actually her first time seeing Baal.
“Alice” Phaedra called Alice who stood there staring into space.
“What are you guys not telling me?” Alice asked, clinched her fist beside her. Before Alice could replied, Derek and Saverina appeared at the scene.
“Are you guys okay?” Derek asked, his eyes was still glowing. Mirabel got amuse by his eyes, this is her first time seeing that too.
Saverina eyes settled on Alice, she must have seen Baal. One thing they didn’t expect was, Baal looking for Alice first.
“What did he do?” Alice asked them.
“Alice, he didn’t tell you what he did so he can protect you” Saverina spoke.
“From what?”
“From Baal. Baal wants you Alice and Zameil is trying to not let you have anything with him” Derek said.
“Why is he roaming around freely then. Explain to me” Alice said.
Derek decided to tell Alice the truth, she was going to find out anyway. He told her how Zameil had made a deal with Baal just to save plenty lives on the night of the war.
Alice felt upset, why is she the only one who didn’t know this? Zameil didn’t trust her?
“Trust me, he kept this away from you just to protect…”
“Stop, you’re making it worse” Alice said and walked into the Privy chamber.
“He shouldn’t have kept this away from her” Saverina said to Derek.
“He didn’t want her to feel guilty, Zameil mostly made the deal just because of Alice” Derek said and Saverina’s face dropped. “Are you tracking him?”
“On it” Saverina closed her eyes trying to get the stone in Zamiel’s body but she traced it in the palace on her spot. Opening her eyes, her sight caught the stone on the floor.
She picked it up immediately and face Derek.
“d@mn it” Saverina cursed, Baal must have spit it out.
A bit far from the palace, Baal walked through the dark forest with his hands was casually tucked into his pocket.
His sight caught the huge building having a dark aura.
Delilah appeared from the dark and her eyes widened spotting him.
“Baal?” She called lightly. He turn to face her. His expression was blank so she wondered if this was Zameil again.
“Bride” that one word was enough to make her face lit with joy. She ran to hug him tight.
“Why? Why do you have to take so long to come?” Delilah cried hugging him tight but Baal didn’t move an inch and just stare without a word.
“I’ve been dying to be in your arms Baal, why do you have to make me wait this long?” She asked.
“Hmm.. you’re such a fool” Baal’s word made Delilah stopped her cries.
“Hands off” He said coldly and Delilah slowly let him go.
“Why did you have to create a war to the Kingdom without me?..”
“But I missed you…”
“Silence!!” Baal roared and Delilah whimpered in fear. She felt heartbroken by his harsh act.
“You could have gotten killed and ruined everything” He said and Delilah looked up to him.
“Never act that way again, or I’ll kill you myself” He said and walked pass her.

The Queen was about to prepare for her sleep when Augustus visited. She sent the maids away knowing what Augustus was about to say.
“You poisoned the king” Augustus said. The Queen stared at him for a while.
“Here to thank me?” She asked and Augustus scoffed.
“No” Augustus immediately replied. “What in the world are you planning?” He asked, his voice a bit harsh.
“To make you King and earn you more power. Didn’t you see how the king was acknowledging your brother”
“He’s not my brother but a riffraff roaming around the Palace” He cut in.
“Exactly August. He’s a riffraff and doesn’t need to be acknowledged. The king is losing his sense of ruling so I have to clear him out. You’re not getting young too. Why can’t you just take over?” She shrugged and Augustus thought for a while.
“What’s your plan?” He asked and the Queen chuckled.
“Once the King dies, I’m planning to put the blame on Zameil. He wanted the throne and he killed the king”
“That story looks awkward. People will look at me instead” Augustus said.
“Then you’ll pretend you were affected too. My maid is really good with this. You are going to take something that will make you sick for just a few days. Act like you are going to die soon and blame it on Zameil.. say the last drink was from him”
Augustus frowned, his mother is sure devilishly wise.
“Your maid, do you trust her?” He asked. There was something about Old Gytha, he doesn’t like.
“She has been with me for years. She is like my sister and very good with plans. All of these won’t have happened if wasn’t for her” She smiled.
After thinking for a moment.
“Okay” Augustus replied.

Rumors spreads as the king finally took his last breath, the next morning. Augustus fell sick too and was on the sick bed.
“What is going in the palace? This is strange” Platon said to Julius.
“Yes, how could Augustus fall sick too?” Julius said.
The Queen was busy shedding crocodile tears as she stares at the Augustus laying with a painful expression.
“What am I going to do? Am I going to lose my child too.. I can’t! I just can’t!” She exclaimed.
The ministers present stared at her with pity. They decided to find whoever did this. After checking on Augustus, the physician faced the ministers.
“We will find the antidote for the poison.. your highness”
The Queen burst into another tears and the ministers gave each other a look.
“Mom” Augustus called weakly. The Queen ran to him.
“My son”
“It.. was.. Zameil.. he said we should.. be on a good term last night.. I agreed and he gave me.. a drink.. he said he was.. going to kill me so.. he can take the throne”
The ministers eyes widened.. Zameil?!
The guards immediately went in search for Zameil and to their surprise, there was no one on the room. Alice, Derek, Phaedra, Saverina, Mirabel, Galen and Ruth was no where to be found.
“What do you mean you can find them. I set my eyes on them yesterday night” The Queen said.
“It is the truth your highness” The guard informed.
The Queen expression turn into a panic one. When did Zameil and the others leave the palace?

Meanwhile, Galen saluted Carlos, he was riding a cart with Derek while Carlos was below him.
“Better keep your promise” Carlos said.
“Thank you” Galen said and began lauched forward.
After they were a bit further from the palace, the curtain opened a little and Mirabel’s little head pop out.
“Wow, we’re finally out of the palace” she said excitedly. Phaedra dragged her back in.
“Shh, we might get caught”
“What? We are far away already. Gosh I can’t believe we are finally out of there. I’ve been dreaming to get out since forever but I never got the chance to” Phaedra smiled.
Saverina smiled at the strong girl, she have such a strong heart even after losing her mother and sister. She shifted her gaze to Alice, trying to keep her eyes open.
“You should sleep. You didn’t sleep a wink last night”
“Don’t worry about me” Alice said coldly.
“Don’t be mad at Zameil, he did for reason” Ruth said. Alice only gave her a small smile.
“Okay mom” Alice replied.
“So where are we going?” Galen asked.
“My pack” Derek replied.
“Huh? Isn’t that predictable for them to find us? Don’t you have somewhere else for us to go?” Galen asked.
“If you have a better solution, how about you spit it out” Derek said, his voice cold.
“We can go to my grandma’s place” Galen said and Derek gave him a look.
“Are you high?” Derek asked.
“You asked for an opinion” Galen said and Derek shook his head and sigh. Hearing no reply from him, he asked. “So what do you say?”
“No, but we can leave Alice’s mom and Mirabel at your grandma’s place” Derek said and Galen nodded.
“How did you know the Queen was going to blame it on Zameil?”
“She predictable. I’ve been in this kind of situation before”
“Really?”
“Yeah, before I became the alpha, my brother h@tës me and almost framed me for my father’s death”
“Oh no did you win the case?” Galen asked and Derek raised a brow at him.
“How do you think I became an alpha dumbass” Derek said.
“What?!”
“Stop!” Derek ordered spotting a figure and they all stopped.
Alice who was inside the cart passed out..

Alice eyes flutters open, her sight met with a strange room. She sat up slowly and frowned hearing the sound of people coming outside the room.
She stood and went to open the door. Her eyes met with an old woman who was about to serve them, Derek, Phaedra, Saverina, Galen, Mirabel, Ruth and finally.. Zameil.
“Alice” Zamiel stood up immediately.
“We need to talk” Alice said.
Outside the inn, Alice faced Zameil with an angry look.
“Alice…”
“Why did you lie to me?” She threw the question at him.
“I..” Zameil took a deep breath. “I am sorry”
“Sorry? Am I too unimportant for you to just tell me the truth?”
“Alice, I didn’t want to scare you. I didn’t want you to be in touch with Baal. I just.. don’t want you to get hurt..”
“I am hurt right now knowing you can’t tell me everything”
“What about you Alice. I feel like I don’t know things about you and each time I asked, you change the topic. Look this not the right time for us the argue.. let’s just fix things.. I’m sorry” He made to hold her but she move away.
“I want be alone for a while” Alice said. Zameil sighed watching her leave.

It was evening, Alice sat at the corner of the room, groaning every moment. Zameil was right, he knows nothing about her too. Most time she’s afraid to tell him she is from the future and she would leave after the mission is complete.
They are in a inn, planning to spend one night before continuing their journey tomorrow morning.
She had called Horea several times to ask if she is permitted to tell Zameil the truth but she didn’t appear.
Her stomach growled.. Gosh.. she is so hungry. She could hear the sound of music coming outside the room. Are they having a party?
Alice stood and searched the room, her eyes came in contact with a bottle.. beer..

“She is such a short temper huh?” Derek said to Zameil.
“I’ll go meet her tonight again. I’ll make sure she open her door” Zameil said drinking out from his drink.
Meanwhile, the old woman in charged of the inn led Mirabel to her room. Mirabel found Ruth sleeping already, she found it weird.
Immediately, Mirabel entered. The old woman locked the room.
“Hey!” She yelled and trying to opened the door but she felt dizzy. Her sight was blurry and her body became weak. She fell to the floor and pass out.
This was happening to Zameil, Derek and others too.
Phaedra and Galen passed out already.
Zameil was trying to keep his eyes open, same with Derek and Saverina.
The people sorrounding them gave them a weird look.
Zameil stood staring at the group of people slowly standing up to their feet. He noticed the claws and glowing eyes.
“Who are they?” Derek asked behind him, noticing it too.
“Demons” Zameil and the group of people growled revealing their hideous fangs. They were actually normal people and not demons.
The old woman in charge of the inn must have spiked their drink so they were seeing things.
Zameil took a step forward but fell to the floor. Derek tried to punch one but he got a punch instead. He fell to the floor and the people grabbed him immediately same with others.
These people are human traffickers. The old woman help to make her customers fall asleep and she will sell them to these people.
“Hey!!!!!!!!” A voice sounded and the all stopped just to see drunk Alice by the doorstep.
The old woman sighed.. she had forgotten about Alice.
“What do y’all think you’re doing with my husband and friends” Alice voice slur as she speak.
One of them gave the old woman a look.
“Take her, can’t you see she is drunk already” The old woman said.
One of them nodded and marched towards Alice with a knife.
“Hey, are you’re a bad person with a knife. I h@të bad person” Alice said drunkenly.
“Be a good girl and don’t struggle with me or I’ll kill you” The man said.
Alice tilted her head and she saw they were still holding Zamiel in an inappropriate way. She h@tëd the sight.
“Let my husband go, do you even know who his is. He is a prince!” Alice said and they all chuckled. What’s a prince doing in a inn instead of the palace.
“Sorry young lady, you and your husband her coming with us” He said and marched to grab Alice.
Before his hand could touch her, Alice punched his face, pulled him and hit his head on the wall several times until he bleed heavily. Her strength shocked him.
“Fuçk!” He cursed and faced Alice but the girl smashed the bottle on his head. With blood dripping down his head, the man faint to the ground.
Alice chuckled staring down at the man. The remaining ones in the room faces contorted into a shock one. Especially the old woman.
Sighing, Alice turn to face them. She threw the broken bottle in her hand behind and asked.
“Who’s next?”
