Before Echo could get up from the floor, her Roman god disappeared. Her face turned into a slight frown.
Her saviour looked so much like her Roman god. She thought she would only be able to see him in her dreams but now she’s seeing him in real life.
She rubbed her eyes like she was in a trance. She removed her hands from her eyes before getting up from the floor.
She was even Wonder why that shadow was chasing her. And now she didn’t even have anywhere to go. It hasn’t even gotten up to an five hours she left home and she was already getting attached.
She couldn’t even imagine what else might come after her if she continues roaming around without a place in mind.
She got up from the floor and then she looked at the small blood that had already dried on her toe. She got injured cos of the stone that hit her.
She picked up her bag also and then she continued going.

Being in the Castle was suffocating for Jonathan. It’s really surprising that he hadn’t even had s*x after his encounter with Echo.
Her pretty face kept invading his mind. Her small pretty eyes and her angelic voice. It all made him want her.
He was craving for her presence. In short, everything about her. He have never thought about any girl like that before. Maybe because she was special
Any girl who comes across him are always smitten by his good looks and all. But she’s different. She didn’t even act like she saw someone handsome.
He took pleasure walking around the streets of the kingdom until he came across someone at the other side of the road.
She looked so much like the girl that has been taking away his senses lately. With his great sense of smell, he was able to perceive her sweet scent which was different from others.
But she was limping lightly like she got injured on a foot. Getting to the other side of the road. Jonathan recognized her instantly, it was her..
He went to the other side where she was walking oblivious of his presence. He touched her shoulder and she flinched in fear.
Echo turned back to see who touched her while holding her chest. The fear of the shadow that attacked was still making her afraid.
Maybe later another one might just appear from nowhere. But when she turned back what welcomed her was a charming smile.
Echo sighed in relief seeing who it was. “Oh it’s you” That was all she could say.
“Yeah it’s me pretty face” He said with a smile and that made Echo to chuckle.
“Who’s the pretty face” She said and laughed thinking it was a joke.
“You are and I am really serious. You have a pretty face and an angelic voice” He said in a serious tone and Echo didn’t know whether to take that as a compliment.
“Well thanks anyways” She replied.
“What are you doing with that?” Jonathan asked pointing at the bag she was holding.
“Oh it’s nothing” She lied holding her bag tightly in her arms.
Jonathan could sense that she was lying so he tried reading her mind so he could find out the Truth. But the moment he tried doing that, a sudden headache hit him hard.
He couldn’t read her mind. That’s weird. He can read anybody’s mind no matter who you are. Apart from his brother Leroy.
But just now, he finds out that he can’t read her mind also. Who really was she? For him not to be able to read her mind.
Echo turned worried seeing him holding his head.
“Are you okay” She asked and he nodded.
Then she took her gaze down to the arm that was hurt the other day. She lifted the hand of his robe up while Jonathan stared at her wondering what she was doing.
She checked his left arm but she didn’t see any sign of a burnt arm. Even a scar wasn’t there.
Thinking it might be the right, she checked also but she didn’t see any scar. Then she looked up at him.
“What about the burnt arm, I didn’t see any scar” she asked and Jonathan chuckled.So that was what she was looking for that she was stressing herself so much.
“I have healing powers so I healed myself” He replied and Echo hit his chest.
“Hey what was that for”
“You made me worry myself and I even had to take you to my house when you could have just treated yourself” She said with a pout and that got Jonathan lost staring.
“You know that turns me on” He said referring to what she did.
“Huh”
“Nevermind”
“So back to why you’re with that. Do you run away from home or what?” Jonathan asked.
“Kinda of”
“If you need a place to stay you can just come live at our castle” Jonathan said and that made Echo gasp.
“Nooo I can’t” she said waving her hands in a sign that she doesn’t want.
“Why????”
“My mom said that you are dangerous. You are one of the Alpha brothers” She replied and Jonathan smiled nodding.
“But you don’t look dangerous to me” Echo said and Jonathan chuckled. Her Mum is right. She looks like someone who haven’t heard of them before.
“Yeah we’re not dangerous like your Mum think” Jonathan lied.
“So what do you say about living in our Castle” He asked changing the topic.
Echo thought about it for a while. She doesn’t have anywhere to stay and she’s afraid that something might just appear to attack her.
He looked trustworthy. Echo slowly nodded. He was her only option right now.
Jonathan heart danced in joy. He would finally have his chance with her. But he stopped, why does she living in his castle affects him so much.
He not supposed to be happy about a girl. It’s supposed to be the other way around. He needs to stop wh@tëver that’s happening to him.
He gestured for Echo to hold his hand and she did as she was told. He made them vanish and they appeared in the Alpha Castle.
**ALPHA CASTLE**
Jonathan made them appear in his room. The place was dark and Echo was wondering why.
Why would someone want to stay in somewhere dark. That looks absurd to her.
She tried to go to the window and open it so some light would come in but Jonathan stopped her. “Don’t”
She paused and then turned to him. “Why don’t you want to open it. ” She asked but Jonathan did like he didn’t hear her.
“Just stay here. I would be right back” He said and like that he vanished.
Echo could feel the dark aura coming from his room. If his room was like this, she was thinking how the other parts of the Castle would be.
Echo went to sit on the bed but then she heard a faint groan from where she was.
She calmed down a bit but when the groan came again she stood up from the bed.
Her curiosity was already getting the best of her. She wanted to know where the groans were coming from.
When it came again for the third time, she opened the door out of Jonathan’s room.The loud groan came again and she started tracing it with her ears.
It made her going more further away from Jonathan’s room. The more further she went, it because darker.
And the groans got more louder. It was like someone was in great pains and she wanted to find out who it was.
When she got close to a door. The loudvl938) groan became very loud in her ears and she guessed that this was where it was coming from.
Her hands went to the door and in a slow mo she twisted the knob. Just when the door opened Leroy growled so loud and it flew her away to the nearest wall.
Her back hit the wall loudly and then Leroy came out of the room. His face was so bloody from the scratch he gave himself.
When he saw Echo, his eyes flashed red and he superspeed to her and dragged her up by the neck.
Echo’s back was hurting badly but with the little strength left in her because his hand was tightened on her neck and his fingernails were piercing in her neck.
She raised her hand to his face and touched his bloody face before saying,
“Why are you like this?”
