Rose was standing still and she couldn’t move again, tears dropping like rain fall, her heart tumbling and her head spinning like someone who drank 5crates of beers, she is very weak coupled with the hunger that is striking her
She is loosing it and gradually she is going down about to pass out, the world is revolving around her and she can see Satan jumping in victory about what has befallen her… Oh no! That can’t be true, I don’t wanna believe it, it can’t be true, Gift! Richard! Nooo oooo oooo!
She screamed in agony and passed out
Before she could hit the ground, the guy rushed to her and held her up, he carried her to his house and lay her down allowing her to sleep for as much as she wants.
When she finally wakes, it was 5:30 in the evening. Very strange how did she end up here she wondered and when she finally recalled what happened, she screamed and started to cry, the guy came out with a tray of noodles and a bottle of locozade boost
He placed it on the table as he tries to sit beside Rose, she grabbed the bottle hit it on the table and it bursted, she grabbed the boy and promised to stab him if he didn’t tell him exactly how everything happened.
The guy with his hands lifted up pleaded with her to calm down and hear everything but Rose who was still too angry and aggressive gave him a final warning or else he will join his ancestors.
Out of fear the guy started narrating the whole thing to her
The guy finished narrating everything for her, Rose was perplexed, she reluctantly dropped the bottle in her hands and left the guys shirt she just sat down unable to cry anymore because all her tears are gone and no strength left in her anymore.
The guy continued to plead with her, Rose looked at the boy, thinking over and over what Gift told him that made him accepted the offer, he seems to be sincere about it even if he is not, there is nothing she can do about it, the deed is done already. She only have some scores to settle with Gift and not the poor guy.
She collected the remaining pix from the guy, told him that she has forgiven him and warned him never to engage in such business again no matter how desperate he is in need of money.
The guy with tears filled eyes vowed never to try such again in his whole life.
Then Rose stood up to leave, and thanked the guy for revealing the truth to her, also thanked him for not rãping her as Gift wished and left for home.
When she got home, she met Gift eating fruits, she greeted her smiling and gisting her about her enjoyment with her new found love She showed Rose her engagement ring, feeling very excited
Rose smiled dryly and congratulated her.
Rose cooked her noodles, it was very rich and lacked nothing, she went to the next Street and bought chicken and add to it…. After preparing it, she dished it out and called Gift who hungrily dived into the food and they both eat together after which Rose cleaned up the dishes.
She took her bath and went straight to sleep
She slept until 4am, she woke up from sleep, she looked at her friend who was sleeping soundly and very innocently, tears filled her eyes, thinking of how her childhood friend
Someone she called her best friend and sister could just betray and stab her at the back with out thinking twice of what they both shared together in the past, without remembering how often she Rose have saved her life and defended her both in her presence and behind her back
Her eyes were clouded with tears as she sobbed silently holding her chest that wants to explode.
So many thoughts crossed her mind, she felt like stabbing her right in her sleep, she felt like pouring acid on her to disfigure her forever, she felt like pøisoning her slowly until she lives this world.
She remembered her mother, what will people say, because of a man she killed her friend, she thought of what they shared together right from childhood, she looked at Gift with a sorrowful look and a disdained gaze
She said inaudible, I won’t gain anything from you dead or pains, but you have always gained a lot from hurting me constantly, I doing the same to you means that we are both in the same category… so I can’t stoop to your level to hurt people because of mere earthly things.
She wiped her tears, but I will teach you something you don’t know, I will shake you to the maros, I will tell you that barking dogs rarely bites and that I am not a barking dog but a biting one, I will bite you once Gift and it will hurt you your entire life.
You have so taken my meekness and love for granted and took my simplicity and gentleness as a weakness there by calling me a foøl. Now we are going to see who the foøl is, I will tell you that I don’t bark but I bite.
Rose looked at her friend for a while, it was 4:45am, she stood from the bed, went to the kitchen, brought out a knife and one big bowel filled with liquid and went back to wake Gift up.
