NEXT DAY>ANGELA’S PLACE
It was the morning of the big day, and Angela
was a bundle of nerves.
She was excited to see Rudy again, but she was
also nervous about going to his school.
She knew that the girls at Dayton High School
were different from the girls at her old school.
They were rich,rude, arrogant,proud and some
of them were bullies.
But she wasn’t going to let that stop her from
being herself.
She was determined to show them that she was
just as good as they were.
She was getting ready to leave for school, when
her phone buzzed with a text message.
The message was from Ellie.
“I’m outside, ready to rock this place!”
Angela smiled and grabbed her bag, ready to
go.
She met Ellie at the front door, and they headed
out together.
As they drove to the school, Angela’s nerves
started to fade.
She was with her best friend, and she was ready
to take on the world.
When they arrived, they parked in the student
parking lot and got out of the car.
Angela took a deep breath and looked around,
searching for Rudy but didn’t see him.
“Let’s go,”Ellie said,and Angela nodded.
They walked into the school, and Angela’s heart
started racing in her chest.
She tried to stay calm, but it was difficult.
She followed Ellie through the halls, feeling
nervous and shy to see Rudy.
“Mm, Ellie where are we going?”Angela asked
slowly, not sure maybe it’s the right decision to
come to this school.
“Huh! Hmmm”
“We are going to Rudy’s class of course,”Ellie
said with a grin.
“What? No way!”Angela’s eyes widened.
“You’re kidding, right?”Angela asked and Ellie
laughed.
“Nope!”
“I …I thought you were going to show me around
the school”Angela stammered.
“We will do that later,” Ellie assured her.
“For now, let’s just get you comfortable at
school and meeting Rudy is a good first step,
trust me”Ellie smiled.
Angela wasn’t so sure, but she followed Ellie
down the hall anyway.
They turned a corner and came to a stop in
front of a classroom.
The door was open, and they walked inside.
In the front of the classroom, a teacher stood at
the whiteboard, writing out equations.
The class was quiet,as the students all paid
attention to their teacher except a boy who
seemed to be reading a book.
Angela’s heart started to race as she stared at
him.
“That’s Rudy,”She smiled, staring at her feet.
“Hmm,are you two just going to stand there or
what?”A voice called out from the back of the
room.
Everyone turned to look, and there, in the fourth
row, was Adrian, smirking.
They all turned to look who he was talking to
and they all saw two girls standing in front of
the class.

👥 They look beautiful.
👥 They seems to be a new students.
👥 I can’t wait to be friends with them.
👥 They look familiar, I think they are model.
👥 I have saw them in a magazine before.
The students started murmuring silently.
“Are you gonna introduce yourself or
not?”Adrian asked, his eyes fixed on them and
Ellie rolled her eyes.
“Oh! So you two must be the new transfer
student”The teacher asked and they nodded.
“Angela and Ellie, right?”The teacher asked,
looking at them expectantly.
Angela felt a twinge of panic, but Ellie stepped
forward and smiled.
“Yes, ma’am,”She said,her voice confident and
easy.
“It’s nice to meet you”The teacher smiled, her
eyes warm and kind.
“Well, welcome to the school,”She said.
“I’m Ms. O’Connor, and I’ll be your math teacher
this year”
“We’re glad to be here,”Ellie said.
And with that, the tension in the room seemed
to ease.
“Well, now that’s out of the way, let’s get started,
“Ms. O’Connor said and Ellie cleared her throat.
“Hey, Rudy,”She called.
Rudy at his desk looked up, and his eyes
widened in recognition.
He looked confused at first but slowly frowned
his face.
“Hey, it’s me Ellie and Angela is here too”Ellie
said, dragging Angela forward.
“He.. hello Rudy”Angela stammered and Rudy
ignored them.
He continues to read his book.
“Do you guys know each other?”Ms. O’Connor
asked.
“Yes,”Ellie replied with a smile.
“Ohh! Okay,you guys should take a seat”Ms.
O’Connor said.
Angela and Ellie moved to the only open seats,
which happened to be in the one in front of
Rudy.
They sat down.
“Ellie,”Ms. O’Connor called.
“Would you like to sit beside Rudy?”She asked.
“What”Celine screamed.
“Yes,but I would like Angela to sit beside him
instead,”Ellie replied.
“Okay,Celine, I would like you to swap seats with
Angela,”Ms. O’Connor said.
“But Ms”
“She is a new student and I don’t want her to
feel left out,”Ms. O’Connor said in a tone that
left no room for argument.
“Now, let’s get started”
With a sigh, Celine stood up and moved to a
seat in the front row and sat down.
“I’m sorry about that”Ellie apologized and Celine
nodded.
“It’s fine,”She said, feeling hurt.
“I won’t be able to sit down beside Rudy
again”Celine said inwardly.
Meanwhile, Angela took her place next to Rudy
with a little smile on her face.
Rudy looked a little bit dazed, still trying to wrap
his head around what Ellie was trying to do but
for now his new seatmate was Angela.
He recovered quickly and turned his attention
back to his book.
Angela felt like all eyes were on her,she could
feel the stares of the other female students
staring at her but she did her best to ignore
them.
She took out her notebook and pencil,
determined to focus on the lesson and not on
her nerves.
“I want you guys should be very nice to the new
students”Ms. O’Connor said
“Oh, I’ll be very nice,them”Adrian said, his smirk
growing wider as he stared at the new students.
He suddenly frowned when he saw Angela
staring at Rudy.
Angela felt her cheeks turn red,as she stared at
Rudy.
Rudy noticed this and said.
“You shouldn’t stare at me too much, Angela,
the girls in this class are going to h@të you,
“Rudy said, closing the book he was reading.
“Huh! I..I-I was.. wasn’t staring at you”Angela
stammered looking away and Rudy chuckled.
He opened his book back and continued
reading.
“You shouldn’t stared at me too much, Angela”
Those words keep on replaying in Angela’s head
as she blushes even harder.
“That’s the second time you’ve ever called my
name, Rudy,”Angela said and Rudy didn’t reply.
He seems to be more focused on the book in his
hand.
“I’m curious over here,what is the title of the
book in your hand cause you seem to be more
interested in it than the math class”Angela
asked and Rudy didn’t reply.
“Why is he not replying to my question?”Angela
said inwardly and sighs sadly.
“Here”Rudy dropped the book in front of her.
“What?”Angela’s eyes widened as she read the
book title.
“How to avoid girls before Christmas,by
Lerry”Angela said.
“I was trying to sneak in a little light reading
during class”Rudy said and Angela laughed.
“You’re such a rebel,”She said, rolling her eyes.
“Do you always read books like that during
class?”Angela asked.
“Only when the teacher is bored,”Rudy replied.
“Which, sadly, is often,”He added.
Angela couldn’t help but smile at his audacity.
“Well, at least you’re making good use of your
time,”She said.
“Even if it’s not in the way the teacher
intended”Angela smiled, staring at Rudy’s face
but he looked away.
“Hmph”
“Hmm,Rudy I’m sorry about what happens in the
past between you and El”
“Please, don’t talk about it”Rudy interrupts her.
“Okay,but the company still wants you to wo..”
“Do talk about the company either”Rudy said
facing the teacher.
“Rudy”Angela called sadly, staring at him.
She suddenly held his hand and Rudy gave her
the look of what do you think you’re doing and
she smiled.
“Just for this class only”Angela pouted and
Rudy didn’t say anything he simply just looked
away.
Angela stared at their interlock hand for a
moment and kissed it.
