Three months later…
“She did this to me! I’m gonna make her pay for it!” Chloe cried with tears spilling from her eyes.
She was paralyzed from the neck down. She had been resentful about it because the damage was done by a power that they could hardly counter.
No one had been able to heal her, the only person that could heal her was Diane. She was the one who inflicted the pain, she had to be the to heal her.
“Make her pay? You should be begging for her forgiveness. You bullied Diane for years and finally she retaliated and you’re feeling so wrong?? How unremorseful and cruel can you be?” Bonnie asked, glaring at her.
“Oh shut up! Everyone in the school bullied her including you! So stop acting like a saint because you’re already fûčking her brother!” Chloe said in disdain.
Bonnie and Chase started a relationship a month ago. Bonnie had asked her mom about it. She thought her mom would oppose but to her shock, she supported her.
Bonnie always thought that her parents would stand against her relationship, that’s why she always hid her feelings for Chase but after getting permission from her mother then her father. She decided to pursue her relationship with him.
“You’re right. I love her brother and I admit being a bystander when she was bullied. Once I see her, I’ll apologize and probably plead on your behalf.” Bonnie sighed as lowered her lips to peck her forehead.
“Don’t place your disgusting lips on my forehead!” She yelled irritably.
Bonnie sighed and stepped away.
“Have a good night.”
“Have a lot of nightmares and pain, bîtch!” Chloe said, acting nasty.
Bonnie clenched her hands and said vindictively; “At least, I’m gonna get fûcked tonight, unlike you who can’t feel anything not even a single touch.”
Tears filled Chloe’s eyes as she heard those words from her.
“I hope Diane never forgives or heal you. The kingdom and school is a better place without you. In fact the world will become a better place if you probably end your life… Kîll yourself but oops! You can’t because you’re nothing but a vegetable…you’re good as dead. Totally useless. “Bonnie was done being nice to her.
Chloe burst into tears and was left sobbing by Bonnie.
Once Bonnie stepped out of the room, Chase stood from where he was seated.
“Did anything happen?” Chase asked.
“No, she’s just being a spoilt brat.” Bonnie chuckled and pressed her lips on his.
Chase kissed her back and wrapped his hands gently around her waist.
“Have you found any trace of your twin sister?” Bonnie asked as she pulled away from the kiss.
“Sadly, no.” Chase shook his head and sighed. “I hope she comes back someday.

Nate was walking on the road, drunk. He had a bottle in hand, walking aimlessly and staggering. The kingdom had suffered some losses because he had been so distracted and sad.
His life hasn’t remained the same since Diane left. He missed everything about her. From her cute smile to her laugh then her kisses and finally her body.
He missed everything about her, her voice wasn’t an exception. His bed has felt more empty since she left.
It felt like a part of him had died, the moment she vanished.
“Diane.” Nate stopped walking and felt like his chest was getting stuffy.
It felt like he was going to suffocate.
“Diane, please come back to me.” Nate muttered, feeling so crestfallen. “I’m sorry…for what I did to you. Just come back, even if you don’t forgive me. I want to know that you’re alright.”
“Aww, father. My heart is touched by your words.” Nate heard his son’s voice and he turned back to see Kent and different beings appearing behind him.
Nate recognized each one of them as his enemies. They were either spared by him or were the children of those he had killed. He knew everything.
“Have you come to kill me?” Nate asked, staring at no other person but Kent.
“Father, what do you think?” Kent smirked at him.
“Kent, my boy.” Nate said and the pain in his voice was palpable. “I know I’ve failed you as a father and I’m sorry for it. I’m sorry for losing your mother but if I had the power to turn back the hands of time, I continue saving you. I will pick you first.”
Kent smirked, unmoved by his words.
“Father, are you trying to get me with your idiotic words? Do you think I’m that stupid kid again?”
“Yes. You’re still that stupid kid that h@tëd me but whom I never tried showing affection. I left you in the care of maids, I never apologized for not saving your mother. I never asked for your forgiveness. I never told you those amazing stories again…”
“I fûcked up and I’m so sorry.” They were stunned to hear such sentimental words and see tears slipping from his eyes.
This time, Kent was shocked too.
“I know that you’ve been weakening my powers. I know that you want the throne. It’s your right and you’ll get it but before that. I want to say that I love you…”
Kent’s heart quivered in his chest.
“I have never said it. But I love you a lot and I wish you the best in life.” Nate smiled painfully.
“Kent, don’t let him deceive you with his words!” one of Nate’s enemy’s said.
“Well. I h@të you and I’ll kill you ” Kent snarled.
“Go ahead. I have nothing to live for. The woman I love is gone and you h@të me. I see no reason to continue my miserable life.” Nate muttered and fell pathetically on his knees.
They all gasped in shock. They had never seen him so broken.
“Attack!!!” Kent yelled heartlessly.
They all directed their magical power and Nate but shockingly, everything backfired.
“Argh!”

Nate wondered why he wasn’t dead already. As he raised his head, his eyes beheld Diane, looking more beautiful then ever.
“Butterfly…”
“Your majesty…”
