Charlotte and Paul ran out of the club holding hands, they ran as fast as their legs could carry them and managed to dodge somewhere until they were sure that they have missed Jerry and bus gangs who were running after them.
“That was close.” Paul lament, and Charlotte laughed.
“This is really funny, Paul. I could never imagine this dramatic reunion.” She said, and they both laughed.
“How have you been, Charlotte?”
“I’ve been great. And I’m overly joyed to meet you again.” She said, and embraced him.
She wanted to release from the embrace, but he held her still.
“Let’s remain this way for few more minutes, Charlotte. I’ve really missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too, Paul. You, Grace and, Louis.” She said, and he released from the embrace.
“You still think about Louis?”
“Of course, he is also our friend.”
“He left years ago.”
“I was aware of that.”
“You should forget about him. He is doing great in Germany. He met new friends, and I’m sure he forgot about us already.”
“Why are you being too serious all of a sudden?”
“I’m just glad that you returned, unlike Louis.”
“I’m sure he still think about us as well if the ball in his court, he would have returned.”
“You believe in Louis that much?”
“Paul?” Charlotte called, wondering why he was taking so seriously.
“We met first, Charlotte, I introduced you to him but you even believed in him more than I do.”
“What’s this about, Paul? Yeah, we met first, and you introduced me to Louis and Grace. We all became friends right after, so I believe in you all, equally.”
“Don’t deny the fact that you are more fond of Louis.”
“Paul, why we are arguing about this when we nearly escaped getting beaten up by Jasper?” She asked unable to control her laughters.
Paul chuckled softly and embraced her. “I’ve missed you so much that’s all.”
“I’ve missed you more.” She said, and wrapped her hands around him.
They disengaged when her phone rang, and she smiled softly when she saw the caller.
“Who’s that?” Paul asked.
“My boyfriend.” She replied all smiles, and his jaw dropped.
“Boyfriend? You now have a boyfriend?” He asked, and she laughed.
“Can’t I have one?” She asked back and wanted to receive the call but it ended. “Ops, I missed it.”
“Well… it felt like yesterday, when you have to sneak out of the house to hang out with us, so it’s just felt weird that we met again and you already have a boyfriend. You were this tall back then.” He said, using his hand to measure her height.
“Come on, I wasn’t that short. I was almost the same height as you back then. And it wasn’t yesterday, but almost a decade.” She said, and get up.
“But it all felt like yesterday.” He said, and her phone rang again.
“Shh.. I’ve to receive this.” She said, and he looked at her as she happily talked to her boyfriend on the phone.

Austin went to help Micheal up and Paulina get up immediately. Ava scoffed in disbelief before leaving and Rae went after her.
“What’s this man?” Stanley asked, and Michael shook his head.
“There is a misunderstanding, it’s not what you think.” Micheal said, trying to explain himself.
“What are you waiting for? Buzz off!” Austin shouted at Paulina who ran out immediately in fear.
They all looked at Micheal who ran his finger through his hair in frustration.
“Buddies, what happened is…”. He shuddered short of words.
“It’s ok, man. You don’t have to explain yourself. At least not here. Get dressed, let’s leave.” Stanley said.
“Yeah. Get dressed. But you still have to explain why you are together in a locked room with Miss special scholar.” Austin said.
“Just get dressed.” Stanley said.
“I need fresh clothes.” He said.
“What were you thinking when you take off your clothes?” Austin lashed.
“I went to shower, and intend to call you to bring me fresh clothes for a change, but my phone was out of charge.”
“And then you get all spicy with a lady.” Austin said.
“That’s enough, Austin. Stop pissing me off. Go get me something to change.”
“Steve, you do it. We will wait here.” Austin said, and Steven nodded before leaving.
“Goodness man, this is gonna make a headline.” Austin said, and Michael pointed at the camera.
“What?! You are being recorded.” Austin shouted.
“Seems like you got caught in the little game prepared for Miss scholar.” Stanley said, and Michael nodded.

Paulina ran out of the party ignoring whoever was calling her until the parson held her hand
“Let me go.” She shouted, and intend to free herself.
“Hey, Lina. It’s me. Why are you running away?” Sage asked, and she looked at him.
“I just want to get out of here.” She cried, and he embraced her.
“It’s fine, Lina. You are safe now.” He said, patting her back gently.
She released from the embrace when she realize what she was doing, and he smiled.
“If you are leaving, let me give you a ride.” He said, and she looked at him.
“Never mind, I’m good.”
“I’m good too. I’m leaving anyways so…”
“I… I…”. She shuddered doubting if it’s right for him to know that she live in same house as Ava.
“Let’s go, Lina.” He said, and held her hand leading her away.
He opened the passenger’s seat for her, and she looked at him before entering and he went to the driver’s seat.
“Off we go!” He said, and drove off.

Ava and her friends watched the content recorded in the room, and Ava throw the laptop away in anger.
“Hey, do you wanna destroy it?” Lia shouted.
“I can always replace that for you, but you ruin my plan. How can you take responsibility for that?” Ava shouted aiming at her but the other girls held her back.
“Girls, that’s enough. We’ve to come up with a solution.” Alicia said.
“What solution? Split it if you have any.” Ava shouted.
“That’s enough, Ava. Stop acting like you are the only one who invested time to this plan?” Rae shouted, and Ava glared at her.
“Did you just shout at me?” Ava asked, and Alicia went to stand between them.
“What’s even the cause of all these? You don’t even tell us the reason behind your h@tered towards that girl.” Rae blurted.
“Rae, that’s enough.” Alicia cautioned.
“Rae is right, why do you h@te the new girl? Who is she to you?”
“She is a leach!” Ava blurted.
“I see no way she leached on you.” Rae blurted.
“Rae!” Alicia cautioned again giving her a pleading look.
“My parents adopted her, and shelter her in wealth. They even went as far as enrolling her in our school, the supreme class at that. Does that answer your question?” Ava blurted, and their eyes widen in bewilderment.
“Oh, my.” Lia exclaimed.
“I’m done with you girls.” Ava blurted, and intend to leave but Alicia held her back.
“Babe, it hasn’t gotten that far.” Alicia said.
“Or Rae is out!” Ava blurted before taking the exit.
“What do we do now?” Alicia asked and Rae stormed out.
“They are both a handful.” Lia muttered, and carried her laptop. “Oh.. my baby. I got this recently.” She whined, and Alicia let out a sigh.

Micheal got dressed when Steven brought him fresh clothes, and the others exhaled heavily.
“We should leave now, guys.” Micheal said.
“What are we going to do about Miss scholar?” Austin asked.
“As how?” Stanley asked back.
“What if she goes around telling the whole school that you were both locked up together in a room? That will ruin our reputation.”
“That won’t happen.” Michael muttered.
“How sure are you?” Austin blurted.
“I don’t think she would dare that.”
“Stop acting like you know her just because you spent few hours locked up together.”
“Enough of that already. The mention of it gross. And I agree with Mike. She should know better. Let’s get out of here.” Stanley said.
They were about to leave when Micheal saw Paulina’s bracelet on the floor, he picked it up immediately and the others looked at him.
“What’s that?” Austin asked.
“It’s for Lina.” He replied.
“Lina? Who the heck is Lina?” Austin asked.
“Why do you care? Just drop it and let’s leave.” Stanley said.
“No, this is very important to her.” Micheal protest, and their eyes widened.
“What? Did I heard that correctly?” Austin asked in bewilderment.
“How do you know it’s important to her? It could just be a mere bracelet.” Stanley said.
“No, it’ isn’t a mere bracelet, I should give it to her.” Micheal said and kept it in his pocket.
“Wait! Did you two suddenly became besties after getting locked up together, or did we miss something?” Austin asked, and Stanley pat his shoulder.
“Enough of that. Let’s leave.” Stanley said, and Michael led the way.

Paulina and Sage drove around for almost an hour until Sage pulled over.
“Do you feel better now?” Sage asked, and she nodded all smiles.
“Thank you, Sage.” She muttered.
“Where do you live exactly?” He asked, and she looked at him. “It’s fine if you don’t want me to give you a ride. Anyways, can we exchange contact?”
“I don’t have my phone now.”
“Oh… is that so? Then I can give you mine, give me a call when you you are with your phone.” He said, and she nodded.
He wrote his number in a piece of paper and gave it to her.
“Give me a call.” He said, and she nodded.
“How will you go home from here? Do you’ve any cash on you?” He asked, and she shook her head.
“Can you lend me some cash?” She asked, and he checked his car.
“I don’t go around with cash.” He replied, and she let out a sigh.
“What of your bus card?” She asked, and looked at her.
“I don’t have one. I’ve never board a bus before.” Ne said, and her eyes widened.
“Oh…”. She managed to say.
“Here, you can use this.” He said and gave her his credit card.
“Your credit card?” She said with widen eyes.
“I’ll get it back when we meet again. I’ve another card. The pin 2207.”
“No, I can’t accept this.”
“Then how do you want to go home? You don’t want me to give you a ride, neither do you want to accept this.” He said, and she looked at him.
“I’ll use it well, and return it back.”
“Take care.” He said all smiles, and she nodded before highlighting from the car.
She waved at him and he waved back. She waited for him to drive off before she stopped a taxi. Thankfully she knows the description of her house.

Micheal lied on his bed and took the bracelet. He smiled while playing with it like he remembers something but he put it away immediately when he heard the door open.
“Yoo… man, I’m screwed.” Austin shouted and Michael stood up immediately.
“What are you doing here? I thought we bid good night earlier.”.
“I just said I’m screwed. You don’t even care to ask what happened.”
“What could have happen? You are just here to pry. If you are screwed go to Stan and don’t inconvenience me. I’ve work to do.” He blurted, and Austin gave him a weird look. “What? What’s that look about?”
“Why do I feel like you are up to something? What are you hiding from meeee?” Austin shouted and bounced on him.
“Hey, get off me. You lunatlc!” He shouted, and left the bed.
“You are gonna split it soon, man. I’ll take your bed for the night.” Austin shouted, and laid flat on the bed.
“After you take a shower.” Micheal said and went to his study to work.
He kept the bracelet in the cabin before he begun to work on his computer.

Paulina arrived late at school because Ava didn’t return home last night, so she had to walked out of the estate before finding a taxi to school thankfully Sage’s card was with her.
She stepped into the hallway and all eyes fell on her. Everyone started whispering words and pointing fingers at her which confused her.
She ignored their gestures and continued on her way when Sophia ran to her.
“Oh, girl… Mike of all people!” Sophia shouted, confusing her.
“What are you taking about?”
“Come on, don’t you want to associate with me anymore because you are now Mike’s girlfriend?” Sophia asked and she became completely lost.
“What…”. She shuddered, and Sophia hits her playfully.
“It only took you a day, and you got Mike. I’m so envious of you. I wish to be like you when I grow up.” Sophia said, and Paulina realized that she will continue beating around the bush as always if she doesn’t act front.
“Bring me out of the dark, Sophie. I’m lost.” She said and Sophia looked at her confused.
“What do you mean? It’s all over the school website. You and Mike.” Sophia said, and showed her a picture of she and Mike in the room.
“My God… who posted this?” She grumbled.
“What’s wrong? Was it just a fling?” Sophia whispered already at lost.
“Just ignore it, it’s not what you think. Mike I and… it’s a long story, I’ll explain it to you later.” She said, and walked past Sophia confusing her.
“What’s there to explain? Was it a fling or a thing?” Sophia thought staring at her retreating back. “I hope it’s a thing.” She added, and giggled.
Paulina ignored everyone and was about to enter the elevator when a group of girls crossed her path – they were more of crowd than group.
“Excuse me.” She muttered, and one of the girls who seemed like the leader walked closer to her.
“Who do you think you are?” The girl asked, and Paulina immediately knew it was because of the scandal.
“Please… just let me through.” She managed to say.
“Oh. You think you own this school, hun? You transferred here three days ago, got bullied by Ava and ended in the supreme class. And then now, what? You went after Mike? You are such a fllrt compared to how you look.” The girl lashed, and Paulina let out a sigh.
“There must’ve been a misunderstanding.” Paulina said.
“What misunderstanding? Who are you precisely? Because I can’t find anything on that surname of yours?”
“She is just a sIut, her mother could be a mistress and she curry some favor then ended up here.” A girl from the group said, and Paulina face twisted in anger.
“What did you say?” She asked, scaring them a little.
“You are a cheap sIut trying to seduce Mike.” The leader blurted, and Paulina slapped her.
“How dare you?!” The girl shouted and wanted to slap Paulina, but someone held her hand – they turned to see its Sage.
“Sage.” Paulina called surprised to see him. She never knew he was also a student there.
“How dare you touch me?” The girl shouted, and Sage released her hand.
“Lina, are you ok?” He asked, and Paulina nodded.
“So you are truly a sIut. After a fling with Mike, you are here with another.”
“Watch what you say, miss.” Sage said.
“Who are you to give me instructions? Do you know who I’m?”
“I don’t have to know who you are to be able to tell that you are a loser that’s trying to seek attention.” He blurted, and the girl raised her hands to hit him, but he was quick to held it.
“Why is the road blocked?” They heard Micheal’s voice from behind.
They all flinched in fear and started to pave way expect Paulina and Sage.
“Lina, you dropped this last night.” Micheal said and showed her the bracelet.
Everyone eyes wide in shock, and Paulina went to collect it happily. She couldn’t sleep well all night thinking she lost it.
“Thank you, Mikey.” She said, and embraced him in gratitude leaving everyone in shock.
