●Prologue●
In the kingdom of Erynodor, destiny was often written in crowns and bloodlines.
Yet sometimes, fate chose the most unlikely hands to shape the future and fate had a cruel way of testing dreams.
Liora Amari, born to an ordinary family of traders had struggled for years, but she was determined to rise above the life she was given.
With courage and endless hard work, she fought her way into the prestigious Avillah College second to prestigious Erynodor College in ranking a place where nobles and royals studied was her dream college.
But gaining scholarship in Avillah college was also like a dream come true even though she had always dreamt of going go Eryndor College
For a while, Selena believed her life had changed.
She could almost see the future she had fought for—limitless, bright, filled with possibility.
But fate had a cruel sense of humor without deeper explanation, her scholarship was revoked, her dreams collapsed, and she was forced to abandon the college that had once been her pride.
To survive, Selena took up work as a waiter in one of the restaurants close to her former college.
There, day after day, she served the very students she once studied beside.
One evening, while clearing trays, she overheard them gossiping about the upcoming Royal Contest—a competition that promised not only wealth and prestige but also a chance to enter the palace itself.
At first, Selena dismissed it as a joke. What could such a contest have to do with her? She was no princess, no noble.
She was just an average girl who had once brushed against opportunity before losing it.
But the more she thought about it, the more it gnawed at her heart.
That night, Selena lay awake, torn between doubt and determination.
She knew the path would not be easy.
She knew her chances were slim.
Yet a quiet voice whispered to her what if this was fate offering her a second chance?
With trembling resolve, Selena made her decision.
She would enter the contest.
Not for vanity.
Not for glory.
But for survival and for her dream she had longed for.
Meanwhile, in the royal palace, another story unfolded.
Prince Damian Valerio, second heir to the throne of Eryndor, was famous for his lifestyle unlike his elder brother, the crown prince, Damian doesn’t care about the throne neither was he ready to take up Royal responsibility except if he agreed to do it reluctantly
Love, to him, was a game to be played and forgotten. Commitment was a prison he swore never to enter and he had made an oath to his heart no woman would ever tame him.
But the King had grown weary of his son’s ways, the scandals, the whispers, the reckless life it had to end.
One evening, with the full authority of the throne, he summoned the family for Royal dinner and faced Damian and declared:
“It is time for you to marry your bride will be chosen from the Royal Beauty Contest. Through this bond, you will learn responsibility, and perhaps, honor.”
Damian laughed at the decree, his eyes cold with defiance. Marriage? Commitment? Never.
He swore to himself that whoever dared become his bride would regret it. He would make her suffer, prove to all that no woman could tame him.
But destiny had other plans and fate was already smiling in secret.
For when Liora and Damian’s paths collide, sparks will ignite between pride and defiance, humility and arrogance, vengeance and desire.
And when Liora Amari steps into the palace, she will find not only trials and enemies but also a heart that challenges her own.
And when Damian Valerio meets the girl who refuses to bow to his arrogance, he will discover a bond he cannot break, no matter how fiercely he resists.
It will be a bond forged in fire, tested by betrayal, and strengthened by love.
A Royal Bond.
The question remains: will it destroy them, or will it teach them the one truth both tried to deny—
that love is the strongest bond of all?
Are you curious? I know you are
C’mon, let’s dive in
Don’t dare miss out

[INTRO]
In the outskirts of Erynodor kingdom, life wasn’t easy for the people living there.
They have to walk miles or board cab to go to middle of the town to make sales.
Most people who lived in the outskirts were not educated while few where.
Among them was a respected man named Leandro Amari — a seer and a hardworking trader.
The day his wife conceived, he already knew the child in her womb was r something greater than this world coulddestined fo imagine.
And when the time came for her birth an unexpected event happened and for the first time in history day turned into night.
No one understood why.
But Leandro did.
He kept the truth to his grave.
The child was born and named Liora Amari a name that carried great meaning and power.
Liora, meaning light.
Amari, meaning strength.
Her father the seer said she was destined for greatness,
but her road would not be an easy one.
She would walk through pain, betrayal, and loss…
Before her true light would shine before the world.
No one understood his words then —
but fate did.
It waited silently,
for the day her story would begin.
[THEN IT’S BEGINS]
Twenty-two years passed.
The little girl once wrapped in prophecy had grown into a beautiful young woman graceful, kind, and determined.
The ray of light shone directly into Liora’s small room, landing across her face and making her eyes twitch in protest.
She groaned softly and pulled the thin blanket over her head, trying to block the brightness.
Before she could drift back into sleep, the wooden door creaked open.
“Liora! Don’t tell me you’re still in bed,” her mother’s voice filled the room. “You know you’re following me to the stall today!”
Liora peeked out from under her blanket, her hair messy and her voice heavy with sleep.
“Mum, how about I join you later? Today’s my lecture-free day and I need to rest a little,” she muttered, half yawning.
Mrs. Maria crossed her arms, giving her daughter the look that always meant no arguments.
“Rest? You call lying in bed half the morning rest, stand up, my dear the market won’t wait for you.”
Liora sat up reluctantly, stretching her arms with a tired sigh.
Fine, fine, I’m up,she grumbled, though a faint smile tugged at her lips.
Her mother shook her head but smiled too. “Hurry, breakfast is on the table I’ll be outside packing the goods.”
As the door close she looked around her room. It’s wasn’t really big, just a bed, small wardrobe, desk and chair.
On her desk was her most valuable treasure, a scholarship letter from Avillah prestigious college one years ago and she is about to start her third year in business management.
Every time she saw that’s letter she felt spark of pride within her.
Her dream college had always been to attend Eryndor College,a college where the noble and wealthy studied but when she gained full scholarship to attend Avillah college she accepted it as her fate and her step toward greatness.
Still smiling, she reached for her bag—then paused as she heard a knock at the door.
“Letter for Miss Liora Amari!” a young messenger called from outside.
“Coming!” she replied, hurrying to the door. She gave the boy few money notes and took the envelope, her curiosity piqued.
The royal seal of Avillah College gleamed faintly on the paper.
Her heart fluttered with excitement.
Maybe it was an update about the new term.
She tore it open eagerly and began to read.
Her smile vanished.
«We regret to inform you that your scholarship has been terminated effective immediately due to you breaking the rules that’s bind the school so you are no longer eligible for student accommodation or class participation»
The words blurred before her eyes. “No… no, this can’t be,” she whispered, her voice trembling.
Then she sank onto the bed, clutching the letter.
All the air seemed to leave the room.
“Why… why would they do this?”
She read it again, hoping she had misunderstood but the truth was cruel and clear.
Her mother’s voice echoed from outside. “Liora! Are you ready?”
Liora quickly wiped her tears, forcing her voice to sound normal. “Y–yeah, I’ll be out soon.”
But inside, her heart was breaking.
She kept thinking about breaking the rules and deep down she felt something was wrong cause she has never broken the rule.
Minutes later, she slipped on her shoes and left the house yet instead of heading to the market, her feet carried her straight toward Avillah College
On getting to the college the student leot glancing at her some were ponting hands at her while some were whispering.
“Isn’t that her?” someone murmured.
“Yeah… the girl from the video,” another replied with a snicker.
Liora’s brows furrowed as she walked past a group of students gathered near the fountain.
Their phones were out, screens flashing, and she could almost hear her own name ripple through the crowd.
“Imagine confessing to Matteo Brookes like that—drunk!”
“So shameless I didn’t know she was that desperate.”
“She even called him her future king.”
Liora froze.
Her stomach twisted.
Her mind went blank for a heartbeat.
What video?
Her hands trembled as she unlocked her phone, opening the school blog that every student followed.
There—at the very top—was a trending post:
“Poor Girl Confesses to the Prince of Avillah Drunk at the departmental gala💔👑”
The thumbnail alone made her heart sink.
Her face, her voice—blurred but unmistakable.
And Matteo… standing there in silence as the crowd laughed.
“No…” she whispered, her breath catching.
The comments were cruel.
Some mocked her, others pitied her.
And a few—those who always envied her scholarship—used it as proof she didn’t belong there.
Her chest tightened painfully.
It all made sense now.
The scholarship termination, the sudden humiliation, the whispers.
Someone had done this deliberately.
She swallowed hard, blinking back tears.
Matteo Brookes—the college’s crown prince and heir to the royal house of Avillah.
And she… the girl who supposedly threw herself at him.
Taking a shaky breath, she clenched her fists and turned sharply toward the administration block.
Her legs moved faster and anger, shame, and confusion boiling together inside her.
She pushed open the Dean’s office door without knocking.
“Miss Amari,” the Dean said, startled. “What are you doing here without an appointment?”
Liora’s voice trembled, but her eyes were sharp. “I came to find out why my scholarship was terminated cause i didn’t break any rules!”
The Dean sighed, rubbing her temples. “Liora, this isn’t the place to argue over personal misconduct you embarrassed the entire college.”
“Misconduct?” Liora’s voice cracked. “That video someone framed me! I was never drunk and I don’t even remember what happened that night!”
The Dean hesitated, her tone softening slightly. “Miss Amari, your scholarship was handled directly by your sponsor’s family and they demanded immediate termination so my hands are tied.”
Liora blinked. “My sponsor’s… family?”
“Yes,” the Dean said quietly. “Lord Darian the father of Emily Darian, the school’s current queen and top sponsor’s daughter.”
The name hit Liora like a slap.
Emily.
Of course.
Emily Darian, the glamorous, confident girl who everyone admired. Matteo’s long-time girlfriend.
The one who smiled sweetly in public but made sure others knew their place.
“So she’s behind this,” Liora murmured, her voice low but cold. “She’s the one who ruined me.”
“Liora,” the Dean warned gently, “I’d advise you not to—”
But Liora was already gone.
Her footsteps echoed down the marble hallway as she made her way toward the student lounge.
Her pulse quickened when she spotted Emily, surrounded by her usual group, laughing as if nothing in the world could touch her.
Liora’s voice cut through the chatter. “Emily!”
The room fell silent.
Heads turned.
Emily looked up slowly, her eyes cool and calculating.
“Oh, Liora,” she said, her tone dripping with mock concern. “I was just talking about you, tough week, huh?”
“Cut the act,” Liora snapped. “You had my scholarship revoked and your father’s the sponsor.”
Emily tilted her head innocently. “Well, maybe he just didn’t like funding a girl who gets drunk and confesses to someone else’s boyfriend.”
Liora’s jaw clenched. “You spiked my drink that night, didn’t you?”
Gasps rippled through the room.
Emily’s smile didn’t fade, but her eyes darkened slightly. “Careful what you say, Amari.”
“Careful?” Liora stepped closer. “You think I don’t know? You handed me that glass at the gala you and your best friend giggling like it was some joke you wanted to humiliate me.”
Emily leaned forward, voice low. “If you were dumb enough to fall for it, that’s not my fault. Maybe next time, remember your place.”
Liora’s chest tightened. Her voice broke. “Why, Emily? What did I ever do to you?”
Emily’s smile faltered for just a second. “You looked at him,” she said simply. “That’s enough.”
The words stung.
But before Liora could respond, a familiar voice whispered behind her.
“Liora… please don’t.”
She turned and her heart shattered.
It was Amara, her best friend.
“Mara?” Liora breathed. “You too?”
Mara’s eyes filled with tears. “I didn’t mean for it to go this far.
Emily said it was just for fun that she wanted to scare you a little.
She told me to text her when you’d be at the gala so she could plan the surprise.”
Liora’s lips trembled. “Surprise? You call destroying my life a surprise?”
Mara looked down, sobbing quietly. “I’m sorry…”
Liora took a shaky step back, her voice breaking. “I trusted you, Amara I shared my dreams, my fears, everything… and you sold me out?”
Amara’s eyes shimmered with guilt. “Liora, I didn’t mean for it to go this far emily said it was just a joke, that she’d only post a small clip I didn’t know she’d ruin you.”
Liora let out a soft, bitter laugh. “You didn’t know?” Her gaze hardened. “You think betrayal feels better when it’s dressed as ignorance?”
Amara swallowed hard, tears spilling down her cheeks.
Emily folded her arms smugly, her tone laced with mock pity. “Oh, come on, Liora don’t be dramatic. You embarrassed yourself, not me cause Matteo didn’t even care maybe he pitied you a little but really, you should thank me I made you famous.”
Liora blinked away the tears in her eyes. Then, slowly, a cold smile crept onto her lips.
“Matteo?” she said softly. “You mean the same Matteo you’re clinging to like a prize?”
She took a step closer, her voice steady now, no longer trembling.
“That guy isn’t even worth it, Emily. He stood there doing nothing while people mocked me. If that’s your idea of a king, then you deserve him.”
Emily’s smirk faltered.
Liora’s eyes flicked to Amara and muttered
“You sided with her but you should’ve known who you were defending.”
Amara looked up, confused. “What do you mean?”
Liora’s voice lowered, every word sharp with restrained fury.
“The same Emily you helped… she’s the reason your brother is in a wheelchair.”
Amara froze, her breath catching. “What…?”
“You never heard the full story, did you?” Liora continued.
“The car that hit him after last year’s campus party the one everyone thought was a hit-and-run? Emily was behind the wheel that night. Her father covered it up.”
The room fell completely silent.
Emily’s confident expression cracked, panic flashing in her eyes.
Liora shook her head slowly, a sad smile curving her lips.
“I lost my scholarship, my dignity, and my best friend. But you—” she looked from Emily to Amara “—you lost something far greater: your conscience.”
She turned toward the door, her voice calm but laced with quiet fire.
“You both think you’ve won. But remember this…”
She paused at the doorway, sunlight spilling over her figure.
“The same fate you mocked me with… will come for you one day. And when it does—” she glanced back, her eyes cold and determined “—I’ll be there to watch.”
With that, Liora walked out
Her head held high, tears unshed but her spirit unbroken.
Behind her, Emily’s laughter faltered into silence, and Amara stood frozen, the truth clawing at her chest.
The whispers returned—but this time,
They weren’t mocking.
They were fearful.
Because for the first time,
They saw it—
The fire in Liora Amari.
And that fire was just beginning to burn.
