Celia arrived at the gigantic mansion, and was stunned by its majestic appearance. She showed the guard by the gate her interview slip and he scanned her with a metal detector and requested for her phone.

“What? I have to leave my phone?”

“The fourth condition. You’ll get it back when you’re leaving,” he said, and she looked at the interview agreement again.

Electronic prohibited was boldly stated, but she doesn’t know that it includes a harmless cellphone.

She submitted her phone after much hesitation and was escorted down to the main building in fear.

She was fully aware pf where she was before she went there, but after submitting her phone she couldn’t help her anxiety.

She was in the mansion of the bloody infamous mafia that she always hear about. Many said he has the face of a dragon, and some said he was a dragon himself. Others said he was a sxxy man while majority believed that he was just a cruel old man.

Emerging the hallway without her phone and walking through dozens of armed men made her doubt her decision for being there. She was just 19, and there to get interviewed for a babysitter’s job but passing through a hell-like valley was never in her imagination. Although, she expected it.

“If I pass through this without passing out…” her subconscious was saying but she snapped out of her thoughts when the man leading her pointed at a door.

“The interview will hold there,” he said, and she found herself bowing, “Go in,” he added, and she composed herself before entering the room, and the door shut behind her.

“What? What if they trap me here?” she almost shouted, and wanted to run back when her eyes caught a painting hanging on the wall.

She was lost staring at the painting when she felt something flying towards her. She spun around in fear and was quick to dodge the knife aimed at her.

“What? I was right, this is a trap!” she shouted, running towards the exit.

Before she could twist the knob, another knife was fast approaching, and she fell to the ground to dodge it.

Trying to catch her breath, another knife was already aiming at her.

“What? I did nothing wrong, why’re you trying to klll me?” she cried, somersaulting to escape the knife.

“Missed target,” she heard a tiny voice said, and she opened her eyes to see the 7-year-old girl she was there to babysit.

“Was it you?” she grumbled in fear.

“I missed it thrice, now I’m out of knives,” the little m0nster said, she can only be a m0nster in disguise.

“Please…. I did nothing wrong, please… don’t hurt me,” she cried.

“Do you still wanna be my nanny?” the girl asked, and she shook her head.

“I just want to leave this place alive,” she cried.

At that point, she really wants to leave alive, leave New York, or perhaps the universe.

“Then leave while you can,” the girl said.

She gathered all her strength together to pick to her heals but the girl stopped her.

“Wait!” she shouted, and Celia froze on her feet, as she almost peeped on her pant.

“Ma….” she found herself stammering as she spun around in fear.

“You were looking at that painting earlier, what do you think about it?”

“What painting…” she slurred in fear.

“You better be honest because others only told me what they think I want to hear, not thier honest opinions. I saw the look on your face when you stare at the painting, it wasn’t admiration, it held a deep meaning, so start to speak. At the count of three. Counting now, one, two—“

“I think it looks sad!” Celia interjected.

“Sad?” the little girl said, her face brightened up.

“Yes, that was my honest opinion. I thought the painting looks sad,”

“Why? It’s just nature,”

“Yeah… but it seems like there is something behind the painting. It’s obviously sad,” she muttered, and the little girl embraced her.

“Yes! I like you, be my nanny!” the little girl shouted

Celia’s eyes widened in shock as she controlled herself from pushing the girl away when the door slugged open, and a man walked in —the mafia lord, the one she has heard lot of stories about. But awry to those stories, he was just an handsome, good looking, sxxy, hot, breathtaking… words failed her to describe him.

“Daddy, she‘a my new nanny!” the little girl shouted, and ran into her father’s embrace.

Upon hearing that, Celia snapped out of her thoughts immediately, and remembered that she narrowly escaped d£ath from the supposed child that she was to babysit.

“That’s good. I’ll take it from here,” he said in a deep sxxy baritone voice and she almost felt butterflies in her stomach.

“Get a grip, Celia, you’ve to escape this place,” she scolded inwardly, putting herself together.

The little girl excused them, and he gestured her to come closer. She wobbled on her feet in fear as she dragged herself to him. He wasn’t the handsome man she was drooling over anymore, he was now…

As she walked closer to him, her gaze fell on the dragon tattoo on his wrist.

“What? Mr. Dragon!” she shouted, and covered her mouth with her hand. He was Mr. Dragon, her nightstand.

FLASHBACK to a week ago (when it all began)***
.*

It was a cloudy night in Chicago, there was a rainfall all day long until it subsided in the evening but the cloud was still dark and the weather was chilly.

Celia left the convenience store she works part-time when her shift was over and hurried to her dorm and started scattering her wardrobe to find something fit for a birthday party. It was the birthday party of her friend, he wasn’t directly her friend; she got to know him through her boyfriend who she has been dating for a year.

She vacate her wardrobe but she couldn’t find anything suitable to wear. All are clothes were all sweatpants and hoodie.

She exhaled heavily and started contemplating on what to wear.

“Should I order something to wear?” she thought, and checked her account balance that was barely enough to fund her tuition.

She was admitted on a program with 70% discounts off her tuition fee but she still struggled to pay the 30% with several part-time jobs.
.
During weekdays she works at a convenience store, or as a delivery person in the afternoon, she works three hours at her school cafeteria, and works as a bar attendant in the evening. She does many more part-time jobs during the weekend depending on how well they pay.
.
“I can’t afford to touch the money after canceling my shift at the bar today,” she grumbled.

She checked out all the clothes and settled for the one she wore less often. She only had few clothes and has been repeating them for a long time so she doubts if any of her clothes meet that cut.

“Well… this is perfect, considering the weather,” she thought, encouraging herself with that before leaving.
**
She checked the time and contemplated either to take the bus or a taxi before she ran all the way to the bus station considering the money with her.

The arrived at the little party that held in a guesthouse; but she stopped on her track before going in when she heard them talking about her.

“Why’re you still dating the bulldozer?” Mark, a friend of her boyfriend blurted.

“Celia is actually a cool person, she is the best girlfriend I have been with so far,” Tyler, her boyfriend said.

“Bite your tongue and save me that. You’ve been two-timing her with Vicky all these while,” Brad, one of Tyler’s friend said.

“Exactly why I said she‘s the best. She trusts me too much even when she sees me and Vicky in a awkward position, I just need to kiss her and sne believes everything I say,”

“Bad guy,” Mark teased, hitting Tyler playfully.

“How long will you keep that up? That girl is a taint to you. Always repeating the same set of hoodie and doing all sort of jobs,” Ronald, one of their friends said.

“I bet a thousand that she will show up on her hoodie,” Mark said.

“I support you with $500 that she will match it with sweatpants,” Brian added.

“She should know better. It’s a f¥cking party,” Leon, one of their friends said.

“How much do you bet?” Brain asked.

“Tyler, why aren’t you saying a word?” Mark asked.

“Because it doesn’t matter to me. I don’t care what she wears, I just want to see what’s underneath that hoodie that’s all I want before I call it quit. We’ve been together for almost a year but I have never seen her undergarments. She is a really hard one, always pretending to be busy,” Tyler said.

“I expected that much. And you can wait for a decade without getting a glimpse,” Leon teased.

“I’ll get it over with tonight. Either it’s by choice or by force. I’ll lace her drink and get to business. I’m tied of seeing those hoodies,”

“Yoooooo!” they al cheered.

“What’s taking her so long? Do you think she wili make it?” Leon asked.

“She might be rounding off with her part-job and probably run late, but she will come, to appease me,”

“Appeasing her man,” Brian teased.

“You should call her, the other girls are here and Vicky will be here soon. If she will run late, you can have a quickie with Vicky before she comes,” Brian winked.

“Bad guy!” the others shouted.

Tyler dialed Celia’s number to hasten her for the party, but they were startled to hear the phone ringing so close to them.

Celia stood by the doorway, dumbfounded, and had to stand there to be sure of everything she heard — she felt glued to the ground after eavesdropping on their conversation.

She couldn’t lash at them, neither could she leave. She didn’t even hear her phone ringing until she saw Tyler approaching her.

“How long have you been there?” he asked, and she glared at him.

“You’ll never see what’s underneath this sweatpants, so let’s just end it now,” with that, she stormed out and he didn’t even try to run after her.
**
She walked around in the street in tears, she already knew from the start that her relationship with Tyler was too good to be real. She never had anything easy in her life.

Nature started it all by starving her with every good thing in life. She was born at the expense of her mother’s life, and she struggled to survive since she was a child with her father who was more concerned with giving her different stepmothers that always made her life miserable.

Getting scholarships through schools was also another struggle, but she easily met Tyler and their relationship was like a fairytale. She asked him for directions on her first day at school and he also happened to be heading same way so they went there together and became bonded from there, and built thier relationship gradually.
.
“It was all a lie, they were all lies to see what’s under my sweatpants,” she cried, and found herself heading to the least place she’d be— a club.

She was denied access in, but one of her course mate, George, bailed her and they both went in together.

“I didn’t know that you come to places like this,” he said, and she chuckled

“This is the best place to forget about your predicaments. I was told,”

“You broke up with Tyler?” he asked, and she looked at him.

“How did you know?”

“He was cheating on you,”

“And that too,”

“Forget about it all. This is the best place to do that,” he said, and ordered for wine.

She drank as much as she can contain and they both went to the dance floor together.

After dancing crazily at the dance floor and drinking few more glasses, he led her to a room.

“You said you would take me home, why’re we here?” she murmured, already feeling dizzy.

“Home is anywhere you can lay down your head,” he whispered in her ear, and pushed her to the bed.

“What.. what are you doing to me?” she shuddered in fear.

“I’m always curious about what’s underneath that pants, who knew that it could be this soon,”

“No… don’t come any closer,” she grumbled in fear.

“I laced your drink, and you will want me vulnerably, I don’t need to force it,” he said, and laughed evilly.

He removed his shirt and joined her on the bed while she screamed at the top of her voice, fighting to free herself from him.

“Help me, somebody help…” she cried, and she cried.

The door suddenly burst open but her eyes were too blurry to see whoever barged in. Whoever it was combat in a fight with her George, and George ran out after losing.

Her savior walked closer to her when George was gone, but her blurry vision couldn’t let her see his face, all she could see was the tattoo on his hand.

“Are you ok?” the most sxxy baritone voice she has ever heard asked, and she found herself shaking her head.

She wasn’t ok, her body was on fire. Whatever George added to her drink was very effective as she got extremely wet.

“I’m not ok,” she said in a low whisper, and moved her lips to kiss him.

He wasn’t a gentleman, he kissed her back hungrily — that was her best kiss in almost a season.

He stripped her hoodie from her slowly, and she didn’t resist because she wasn’t in control of herself.
