Ava was discharged from the hospital, and Paul escorted her to her room.
“Ava, I would sent you abroad so you can relax properly, but… I know you will protest, your scar hasn’t been healed yet,“
“Daddy, it’s just the both of us now,” she muttered, and he held her hand.
“Wnd Paulina,” he said, and she shot him a glare. “Ava, Paulina is your sister, you have to accept it now, and stop causing troubles,”
“Now, I’m a troublemaker! Paulina is your biological daughter, so it’s appropriate for you to think I’m causing her troubles. I’m just here from pity anyways,”
“Who says pity? Ava, if yoy will be this way, then you should h be here,”
“Dad…”
“You have always been my daughter, if you will talk about pity now, that means you don’t regard me as your father,”
“Dad, Lina will try to step on me because she is your biological daughter, even if you accept me, it won’t change her motives. I can’t live like that dad, I can’t live that way when everything was supposed to be mine. It has all been mine from the start dad, I don’t know how to share what’s mine. And now… it feels like it was never mine,”

“Get some rest, Ava. You need rest,” with that, he left.

Paulina was studying in her room when she heard a knock on the door, she uttered a response and lit waht she was doing behind.
“Dad,” she called when Paul walked in.
“Ava was discharged today,”
“Oh…”
“I’m sorry I didn’t let you attend the funeral. There are nosy reporters everywhere, so we have to be careful,”
“It’s fine dad. How is Ava?”
“Paulina, Ava just lost her mother, so I want you to be nicer to her. You are my daughter, so is she. She still have a deep wound, and she needs all the love she can get to help her heal soon,”
“Dad, do receiving love helps heal the wound of losing someone close to you?”
“That’s the only way we can help them,”
“Then you should have tried to help me too,”
“Paulina…”
“Dad! I lost my mum when I was just brought here. I was introduced to an entire new world I never knew exist. “Do you want to take revenge on Ava. Paulina… you are a better person than that,”
“You should have raised her properly as well. If you have raised her properly, I won’t be suffering this much. I was all alone when I was brought here. I was all alone… but no body tried to help me heal,” she cried, and he embraced her
“I know. I was a bad father, I’m a bad father. I didn’t shower you with love, and I didn’t raise Ava properly. It’s all my fault, so help me repel. Let’s start a new, me, you, and Ava. A new family,” he said, and she wrapped her hands around him.

Students arrived at school and started grumbling about the exam.
Lia arrived at school and went to embrace Alicia.
“Hey, girl. Congratulations on your father’s inauguration,” Lia said.
“Why are you making a fuss from that? It’s not like I care about his election. But anyways, thanks!”
“It’s a win because you won that ba$tard,”
“Lia… Ava is our friend,”
“I cut all ties with her after that scandal. What scandal? That fact!”
“That’s enough. Seems like you are already prepared for the exam,”
“Who cares about the exam? Alicia, your father seems sure that Ava was a b@stard. All the evidence says it all. Her blood group confirmed it already, so why didn’t he reveal her biological father? I’m sure you know him, just reveal it so we can put that ba$tard in her place,”
“Lia, Ava lost her mother,”
“What? Did her mother commit sulcide because she didn’t win the election? That’s so pathetic!”
“What you are saying now is pathetic. It was a fire accident,”

“My father see no use in revealing it since he already win the election. So, let leave that,”

“I really feel bad for her. She just lost her mother, and she might lose everything soon,”
“Why are you acting concern?”

“I never considered her a friend. She was too fo0l of herself after she returned from England. Gosh, I had enough of her. We should put her in her place,”

“Come on, Alicia,” Lia grumbled, clinging to her as they head to class.

Austin and Steven alighted from Austin’s car, and Rae approached them.
“Hi guys,” she waved.
“Hi,” Steven muttered, and winked at Austin before leaving.
“What’s that? Hi, Rae. Wait for me, bro!” Austij shouted, and intend to leave but Rae dragged him back.
“Why are you avoiding me?”
“Am I suppose to cling to you?”
“You said we should be friends,”
“I can’t be friends with a girl, especially one with a boyfriend. I don’t have female friends, because I can’t keep it clean. Are we good now?”
“You just admit to avoiding me because of Derick,”
“For F¥ck sake, Rae! Derick is my friend, I was oblivious to your relationship and had a thing with you. I feel like trash, you cheat on Derick with me, and I had no idea about that,”
“How dare you call me a cheat?”
“Then what should I call it? You were with Derick, but something happened between us. This doesn’t make sense. You were like… two-timing!” He blurted, and she slapped him.
“It all started that day. The day at the sport house, was our first day,”
“That’s a relief. But it changes nothing. I can’t be friends with you, so don’t cheat on Derick with me,”
“We broke up,”
“What?”
“Derick and I broke up. We realized we are better off as friends, so we broke up ,”
“Why are you always breaking up with everyone within weeks? You never lasted long in a relationship,”
“Are we good now? Can we be friends now?”
“No. I don’t want to be friends with you, and I’m even scared of thinking of dating you. We might just end up breaking up within a week. Gosh… this is crazy. Are you engaged to someone?”
“You prejudiced me earlier about Derick, are you going to do that again?”
“I’m sorry. I just felt bad. Derick is my friend, and I don’t want any sort of misunderstanding,”
“The mid semester exam start today, and your training will begin right after. We might not see you around at school often,”
“Yeah,I’ll begin my training after the exam, but I can’t skip classes because of that. I’ll go for training right after school, and train at the basketball court during recess. My coach is really persistent,”
“Since you made a lot of mistakes, I assume you owe me an apology,”
“What are you getting at?”
“After you win the championship, let’s have a drink. You treat,”
“A drink?”
“You can’t say no, you owe me, so it’s your treat. I have something to tell you,”
“What’s it?”
“Till then, after you win the championship,” with that, she left.
“What? What’s that about? Now, I’m feeling the chills I really have do win even though I want to win before,” he muttered.
“Win what?” Michael asked from behind.
“It’s Rae. She said she has something to tell me after I win the championship,”
“Oh… since she didn’t say if your grades improve, then I assume she really wants to tell you,” Micheal said, and Austin glared at him.
“Good morning, brothers. Where is Steven?” Stanley asked, approaching them.
“Don’t talk to me!” Austin blurted, before leaving.
“What’s wrong with him? How long will he keep that up?” Stanley grumbled.
“He is just sulking,” Micheal assured.
“It’s taking longer this time!” Stanley snapped, before leaving.
“Why is he lashing at me?” Micheal grumbled.

The MASS were all in thier suite waiting for the exam time, when Austin suddenly gasped.
“What’s it?” Stanley asked, and took his phone.
“Ava’s biological father is revealed. Someone posted it on the website,” he said.
“What?” They all shouted
Micheal scrolled through his phone and stood up immediately.
“It’s really unbelievable,” Austin said.
“Isn’t he the man in the scandal during her mother’s campaign?” Stanley said.
“Let’s go, guys,” Micheal muttered, and stormed out.
“Where to? The exam won’t start anytime soon!” Austin shouted.
“I think he has something else to attend to. Come on, let’s go,” Stanley said, and they all ran after Micheal.

Paul dropped off Paulina and Ava at school, and they all walk in together while Ava tried to cover the scar on her face with her hair. They walked down the hallway and students pointed fingers at them, Ava felt insecure with thoughts that they were pointing at her face, she wanted to run back when a group of students approached her.
“Who called who a queen?” The leader jeered, and Ava looked away. “What’s she called?” The girl shouted.
“The ba$tard queen!” The others shouted, and started throwing things at her.
👤”get out of our school our school, ba$tard!”
👤”you are no queen!”
👤”you are a ba$tard!”
👤”you don’t deserve to be here!”
👤”you don’t deserve to be at this school!”
👤”get out of our school!”

Students shouted throwing things at her, and she fell down in tears hoping for an escape until they all halt, and she looked up to see the MASS.
“Whoever talks behind my back, will be sanctioned,” Micheal said, and they all flinched in fear.
“What’s he doing?” Austin grumbled, and Stanley shook his shoulder.
“Let’s go,” Micheal muttered, and stretched his hands towards her.
She contemplated wondering if it’s a trap, but she accepted his hand and he dragged her away leaving everyone in shock.

They get to a quiet place, she freed herself from him.
“Why did you get involved?”
“Because you once did the same. Did you want me to say that?” He asked back.
“When did I ever do that?”
“When I wanted to broadcast my true identity to the school, why did you came to the broadcasting station that day? Wasn’t it because you wanted to stop me?”
“You assume too much,”
“You only threaten to reveal it to others, but you didn’t,”
“I was waiting for the perfect time “
“Whatever! I didn’t get involved became of that. Lina texted me, she already saw the post on the website, and she asked me to get involved,”
“Lina did that?”
“Ava, just be good to her and stop seeing her as a competitor,”
“What do even know?”
“More than what you are imagining,”
“What are you getting at?”
“You understand what I meant,”
“Paulina told you?”
“She doesn’t have to tell me. I have my ways in figuring things out. Just be good to Lina, otherwise I will be the one to reveal to everyone that she is the real Stanford,” having said that, he left.

LOUIS’S HOUSE^^^

Charlotte was downhearted when Louis told her about Grace’s passing, upon getting the news, she could only remember the good memories they shared.

After mourning Grace for few days, she started thinking of the best way to bring up meeting her daughter since Mr. Packard has been apprehended. She thought of how to approach the situation, so she decided to tell Louis first.
“Louis, there is something I want to discuss with you,”
“I also have something to tell you,”
“What?”
“I don’t think you should meet Paulina now,”
“Why? Mr. Packard has been apprehended, everything is good now,”
“Because of this,” he said, and gave her a test result.
“What’s this?” She muttered, looking at the result.
“When you were brought to the hospital, the doctor ran some tests on you. It confirmed that you have stage 1 cancer,”
“What?” She shouted, and looked at the result.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s just the first stage and it’s curable. I contacted a friend of mine who is a doctor in the UK, he is the director at his hospital, and jw is very good at his job. He will be the one to treat you,”
“What? You already did all that? Louis…”
“Shhh… don’t be scared. My friend is an expert in that field, and I’ll be there too,”
“You will be there?”
“Yes. I already turned in my resignation, so we will travel to UK together to treat you,”
“Louis…” she called in tears.
“You should’t meet your daughter yet, you should meet her when you are healthy. I already discussed it with your father, and he agreed that it was a good idea,” he said, and embraced her.
“Louis… I don’t want to dle…” she cried.
“You won’t dle, I won’t let that happen,” he reassured.
