The MASS went to Michael’s suite outside school to prepare for the party they were attending later, and they started bugging Stanley about Jessica.
“Wait. Let me get this straight, everything started the night before your parents scandal, and you almost breakup with her in less than 24 hours, no you literally broke up with her, but she confronted you before you mend the relationship,” Austin said, trying to understand the story.
“Yeah, tha-…” Stanley was saying, but Austin cut in.
“Shut the fǔck! I can’t believe you almost break up with Jessica. If you have to crawl on your knees to beg your parents to makeup, then you should’ve done it. You are such big dǔmmy,” Austin scolded.
“I know. I know. I wasn’t thinking at that period,” Stanley said.
“I can’t believe you actually got Jessica, I mean Jessica. The same Jessica that rejected almost all her suitors,” Micheal said.
“Tell me about it. This guy is one lucky dude. I was also once interested in Jessica as well,”
“You?”Micheal and Stanley chorused.
“What? Can’t I like her?” Austin blurted.
“Why would you like her? Isn’t it going well with Rae?” Micheal asked.
“Forget about that girl, I am trying to get over her since I confirmed her relationship with Derick,”
“Did she rejected you for Derick?” Stanley gasped.
“No, I- wait a minute. How did you know about Rae? I never tell you guys about her so how did you know?” Austin asked, and Stanley looked away.
“Nothing is hidden under the sun!” Micheal blurted, and Austin chuckled.
“Indeed… nothing is hidden under the sun. I am going to get youuuuuuu….” He screamed, aiming to attack Steven bug Stanley ran off instead.
“I didn’t tell them anything!” Steven blurted.
“Stan, why did you ran off? Was it you?”
“Steve, how did you know?” Micheal asked.
“We live together, it’d be weird if I don’t know,” Steven said.
“Can we stop blaming each other?” Stanley shouted from afar.
“That’s enough guys. Don’t forget there is a bigger deal tonight. Those clown will try to bully us,” Micheal said.
“Who dares?” Austin blurted.
“Stanley’s family just fell apart, they would want to cause trouble with it,” Micheal said, and Austin exhaled heavily.
“You don’t have to get involved,” Stanley said.
“I wish it could work that way, but we’re all on same boat here,” Michael muttered.
“Next month is his birthday party, who throw a birthday shower a month before?” Austin blurted.
“He just wants flaunt something, I am sure of that. That guy has his way with things,” Micheal muttered.
“There is many interesting topic to gossip about, many of them will be more interested in Ava than Stan,” Steven said.
“You’re right, how come we didn’t think of that? I’m also interested in her, I have never anticipated a press conference before,”
“We shouldn’t still let out guards down,” Micheal said, and they all nod in approval.

The MASS arrived at the party, and started exchanging greetings with the others.
“Roy, advance birthday, bro. I see you got a new necklace,” Michael said.
“It’s diamond, man. Do you wanna feel it?” Roy teased.
“He will need to feel it to know it’s real, after getting dumbed by a ba$tard,” Prince said, joining them.
“Hey, clown, must you always make an entrance with your mouth?” Austin blurted.
“Now I see why your father wants you to quit athlete, your line is d£ad, you need to study,” Prince mocked.
“The nerve…” Austin shouted, aiming to hit him but Micheal held him back.
“Mike, what’s going to happen to your engagement? I heard your won’t be able to become the chairman if you don’t marry the ba$tard,” Prince said.
“Can you keep walking, and don’t try to ruin the party!” Stanley blurted.
“So rich from someone with a ruined family!” Prince blurted, and Micheal wanted to hit him, but Steven held him back standing walking to the front.
“Real men don’t buff, we use our fist,” Steven muttered.
“Hey! I heard that you got a surgery done. Or did Mike finally permit you to talk?” Print jeered.
“You are still buffing,” Stevie’s muttered.
“Steve, what are you doing?” Austin asked.
“You, and your clowns are all 8. Why don’t we spar, I’ll take you all down,” Steven said, and everyone gasped.
“Are you guys really doing this at my party?” Roy interfered.
“Stay out of it Roy, prince asked for it!” Micheal blurted.
“Hey! Don’t forget that I’m a boxing trainee,I won a medal,” one of the clowns said.
“You failed your last competition, you never beat a national championship. You’re just interested in boxing, so was I. But boxing is really boring,” Steven said, and the clown wanted to hit him but prince stopped him.
“You really talk too much for someone who just started talking,” Prince said.
“You are still buffing,” Steven muttered.
“Do you really think you can bring us all down? Even you all as a team can’t win us. I’m a black belt holder in teakwando incase you forget,” Prince said.
“Buffing, again,”
“Enough, clown. Let’s get this over with!” Micheal blurted.
“What’s your deal, Mike? You must’ve confidence in your lackey,”
“If we lose to you, the MASS will stop attending any gathering you are,” Michael said, and everyone gasped.
“Mike, what are you saying?” Austin grumbled.
“Wow. Seems like the future chairman of Russ Group is already tired of partying. But must you drag your minors along? Austin, are you fine with this?”
“What? Do you think we will lose to you?” Austin blurted.
“You heard it everyone. The MASS said they won’t attend any gathering I am in. Roy, you heard that too Mike won’t get to attend your birthday party!@
“Mike, what are you doing? Are you really tired of partying?” Roy scolded.

👤”oh… I’m really going to miss him,” The people around grumbled.
“Mike, this is bad. You can still change the proposal,” one of their other friends said.
“You won’t even attend my birthday party?” Roy remarked.
“That’s only if I lose to the clown. But if you lose, you must never dare to insult Stan with his families situation. What’s our business with his family falling apart? That’s the adults problems. If anymore dares to insult Stan again, the MASS, and those clowns will deal with them,”
“What?” Everyone shouted.
“You want to use me? Do you think you will win? Too bad I won’t be seeing your faces around, and I will really miss Austin,” Prince said.
“Do you agree to the rule?” Austin blurted.
“Deal! But you should get ready to disappear from my sight forever,”
“Buffing! Buffing! Buffing! When will the fight begin?” Steven lashed.
“Too bad Roy, your party is ruined. This is really going to be a long fight,”
“I only need ten minutes, Mike. I’ll get this done. We planned a lot for this party,” Steven said, and everyone remained alert to watch the fight.
Stanley set his timer, and it took Steven less than 15 minutes to knock them all down, and everyone gasped in bewilderment.
“Next time, I’ll make you kiss my shoes or change from that Prince you call yourself, to a real clown that you are,” Austin teased.
“You, you, what are you?” Prince muttered.
“You aren’t going to ask if he is human, right?” Micheal teased.

“You are so amazing, man,” Roy said, and embraced him.
“Gosh! Has he always been that good?” Austin gasped.
“Seems like Steven will steal our spotlight away,” Stanley said, and they all chuckled.
“He will easily get a girl now,” Micheal added, and they all nodded in agreement.
“There comes Jessica, see you,” with that, Stanley excused himself.
“I thought she and Jake were together, I mean they are always together,” Micheal said.
“Must I always repeat this? Jake is engaged to a middle class student, he doesn’t go out with her. And Jessica, is his bestie, he is as close to her as he is to Jenny. But Jenny has a boyfriend, so he always hang out with Jessica instead. This will be the last time I’ll explain this,”
“Hey! Why are you upset? Get a life!” With that Micheal walked out.
“You should have invited Lina?” Austin shouted.
“She is more worried about the coming exam, and I’m sure she has a lot more to worry about now,” he muttered, joining his other friends.
“Did Mike just left us to meet Derick?” Austij said.
“That explains why Rae chose him over you,” Steven muttered.
“Hey!” Austin shouted.
“Hi, Steven, wanna dance?” A girl said approaching them.
“Hey, Steve. I’m Lydia Holt,” another girl said.
“Seems like I’m invisible,” Austin grumbled, and rolled his eyes before he left.

CHAIRMAN STANFORD’S MANSION^^^

Grace has been thinking all night about how to escape her present predicament, revealing Ava’s identity in the press conference would simply result to stepping down from the election. Paul will send Ava abroad, and she can’t even imagine what will happen to her afterwards.
“He is going to send Ava abroad, and abandon me since he never wanted this marriage from the start. I can’t let that happen, I can’t lose it all “ she cried, looking at her range that already fell massively. “Even if I can’t become the mayor, I won’t give up on Paul “ she muttered. “First, he left the bedroom for me, then next what? He will leave the marriage. That can’t happen, I won’t lose to Charlotte. Never!” She shouted, shoving everything on her bed away.
After thinking all night, an idea came to her mind, so she called her campaign manager immediately to plan things with her before heading to Ava’s room.
“Mum, what are you doing here?” Ava asked, and she signaled her to be quiet.
“Pack few things, and quietly follow me,”
“What? Where are we going?”
“The press conference tomorrow, your father is going to announce that you aren’t his biological daughter and send you abroad,”
“What? But he promised to protect me!”
“That’s his way of protecting you. He is going to send you abroad, annul our marriage and we will know everything to Paulina,”
“I can never lose to her,”
“That’s why you’ve to come with me,”
“What do you plan to do?”
“Paul will never leave you to be with me, he knows you aren’t his daughter even before you were born, and he protected you and loved you very much, so we have to escape that press conference, until I am able to sort it out,”
“How will you do that?”
“If I leave with you, Paul will want to you back by all means, so I’ll tell him I can’t let you live as a ba$tard. Even if you go abroad, others will still trample on you. I will make realize that, and you will quietly go abroad while we sort out the mess “
“Mum, are you sure about this?”
“Trust me, Ava. This is our only way out,”
“Can’t we talk it out with him now?”
“He won’t listen. I tried, but he didn’t listen. Have you forgotten the saying? Absence makes the heart grow fonder. If we leave now, he will understand how serious this is,”
“Ok, I want to trust you for now. So, where do we do?”
“Somewhere no one can find us. Kira already prepared everything, and she is waiting for us by the back gate,”
“Mum…”
“This is our last chance Ava, if you want to remain the heiress of first group forever, then you will do this. I can’t let you lose to Paulina, never!
Ava packed few things in a backpack, and quietly followed her mother to the back gate, there they met Kira waiting for them.
Kira drove for almost two hours, and she pulled over in an old abandoned building.
“Why are we here?” Ava blurted.
“Where is this place?” Grace asked.
“May-.. ma’am, you ask me to find a place out of reach from the media, where no one knows you, this is the place, ma’am,”
“You couldn’t think of a better place?” Grace blurted.
“Ma’am, it was a rush and this is the quickest place to find. This is my grandparent’s old house,”
“What?” Grace and Ava shouted.

They entered the building, that looks like it could collapse any moment, with leaking roof, and broken water pipes.
“Mum, I would return home and accept whatever dad has to differ!” Ava bluntly said, and turned to leave but Grace held her back.
“I also can’t live like this, but the fight worth it. We won’t spend another night here, I promise,”
“The thought of spending a night here is making me lose my mind!” Ava yelled.
“Same! I am losing it!” Grace fired back, starling Ava. “But we have to endure. I’ll send the adress to Paul, he will come and pick us up tomorrow,”

MR. ETHAN’S WAREHOUSE^^^

Mr. Ethan was sat on his bed thinking of the Packard’s when one of his men barged into his room.
“Boss, there is a problem!”
“Who was abducted, or kllled?” He asked, and the man looked up in shock.
“Boss, Ms. Charlotte was abducted!”
“Good! I know that creepy man will fall for the bait. Let’s see how he will get out of this,” Mr. Ethan muttered.before taking his phone to call Louis.

📞*don’t panic, but involve the police, my men are there with her,*
📞*it’s the Packard’s doing, that creepy politician must be looking for a way to threaten me,*
📞*I said not to worry, this is simply a bait that he fell for. I’ll send Don to get her, since he went to Charlotte, my granddaughter would be safe,* with that, he dropped the call.
“You just fell into my trap, and there is no more escape,” he muttered, before putting his phone away.

THE ABANDON HOUSE^^^

Ava was unable to sleep well on night, and when she managed to, she dreamt that Paul announced to the world that she was a ba$tard, and Paulina was his only daughter, sending she and her mother away, and they moved thier belongings to the abandoned house. Waking up after the nightmare to see herself at the abandoned house almost traumatized her that wasn’t out of her nightmare.
“Dad loves me, he will never abandon me “ she tried to reassure herself until day breaks.
The house was out of water due to the broken pipe, after exchanging words with her mother, she left angrily.
She walked around the neighborhood thinking about everything that has happened so far, Paulina sudden appearance in her life, and losing everything to her.
“Never, Ava. You can’t lose to her. You are a queen, and you will forever be,” she muttered.
The neighborhood was so quiet, the few passerby didn’t even spare her a glance. After walking around for few houses. Walking around really helped her ease her worries, and she returned when it started raining.
She ran back to the house, and the house was already flooded because of the leaking roof.
“I should have just stayed home if water will leak out anyways,” she grumbled in annoyance, barging to the room to see the shock her of life—her mother was lying lifelessly on the floor with the bottle of sleeping pills beside her. “Mum, mum. Mum, get up,” she said, hitting her.
She collected her phone from her, and saw the message Grace sent to her father.
💬*you failed, dad. You failed to make me the mayor. You failed to make Paul mine forever* the message reads.
Ava’s eyes widened in shock, and she glance at the document on the floor, she picked it up and was startled to see that it was a divorce paper, with her father signature there.
“What? Dad is going to divorce mum,” she thought, and put the paper away. “Mum, get up and stop scaring me,” she cried, hitting her mother vigorously.
She was hitting her mother in tears, and reached her phone to call for help when the house suddenly went ablaze.
